55 years bringing the greatest orchestras and most renowned artists of the world accompanied by the best audience

Ibermúsica is a concert promoter of note in Europe, thanks to its extensive experience bringing the world´s best orchestras, conductors and soloists to Spain over the last 55 years.

We are a privately owned company that organizes world-class level classical music concerts with an annual subscription programme of 24 concerts, divided into two series, Arriaga and Barbieri. The concerts are held in the Symphony Hall of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, traditionally a September to June season. We additionally programme gala concerts, complementary to our subscription series and offers the 'km0' series, a program of small-format concerts featuring local performers in the Chamber Hall of the National Auditorium.

History

Ibermúsica was founded by Alfonso Aijón in 1970, who decided to try to bring the best symphonic orchestras in the world to Spain.

Over the years, Ibermúsica has evolved while maintaining the same artistic standards, rigour and passion for the arts and music. The number of artists who have been presented in Spain by Ibermúsica is vast, thanks to the professionalism that has always been our trademark. Similarly, it is thanks to Ibermúsica that numerous works by such relevant composers as Stravinski or Shostakovich have been premiered in Spain.

Under the expertise and guidance of Llorenç Caballero, CEO of the company continues to grow and offer the best of the world to the best audiences in Spain.
